Garden State Computing was founded in January of 2014. Garden State Computing strives to provide excellent service at a fair price by leveraging open source products in conjunction (such as various Linux and Unix flavors, OpenVPN, pfSense, and more) with mainstream products (such as Microsoft Windows®, VMware, Fortinet, Juniper Networks, HP, and more).
We pride ourselves on our excellent service and our phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a member of our technical staff or someone who will immediately get one of us on the phone.

Dan has been an integral part of Garden State Computing since its inception. He is responsible for maintaining our clients' infrastructures, taking care of support requests, proposing and executing creative solutions to various problems, researching and evaluating new technologies, and assisting with large projects. When he isn't working, Dan is completing SANS security certifications, exploring new publications in cybersecurity, learning how to program, tinkering with microcontrollers, running, playing soccer, and/or practicing guitar.
Doug founded Garden State Computing in January of 2014 after working in the technology field for the five prior years. Doug holds a Bachelors Degree from NJIT and a Masters Degree in Emergency Management from the University of New Haven. He works with Dan and Ryan to ensure streamlined, efficient operation of client networks. When time allows, Doug is either studying something related to his Emergency Management degree or volunteering at the Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps, serving as an EMT or at the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad as a rescue technician. He also enjoys playing baseball, fishing, cycling, and watching his beloved New York Mets, New York Rangers, and New York Giants.
From a young age, Ryan has had a love for computers. He built his first computer when he was in 7th grade. From then on, he constructed his knowledge for computers from the ground up. Ryan worked at Micro Center to assist customers on building their computers of their own. Ryan knew that working on computers and assisting people with various issues was something he wanted to do as a career. In September 2018, he joined Garden State Computing as a Systems Administrator. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys golf, fishing, and hanging with friends. You can also catch Ryan enjoying a Devils game at Prudential center, or a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium.
